A published researcher myself, I am happy to accept paid commissions involving research in Spanish source documents for historians and authors based elsewhere. Many of the same documents with which I am familiar for genealogical purposes can also be of use to academics and biographers. I have specific relevant experience in locating and extracting, or obtaining images of, documents needed for books, essays and doctoral theses. I am also experienced at transcribing and/or translating old Spanish or colonial records – wills, land records, litigation and more, ranging from the 15th through 19th centuries.
