Archivo Diocesano de Toledo
Among this archive’s more unexpected holdings are the parish records for the church at Oran, the former Spanish enclave in North Africa, evacuated in the late 1700s (and today part of Algeria). Of course, they hold many record sets relevant to genealogy closer to Toledo as well, including correspondence and accounts sent by convents throughout the Diocese.
