My Qualifications

A long-time resident of Spain and an experienced genealogist, I am pleased to offer my services to those needing genealogical or historical research conducted on-site in Spanish archives. I am fluent in the Spanish and Catalan languages; I am familiar with the contents of many Spanish archives, as well as with published genealogical sources and indexes. I hold an Advanced Degree in Genealogy, Heraldry and Nobility Studies from the "Marqués de Avilés" school in Madrid, and the National Researcher's Card issued by the Spanish government. My articles have been published in 'The Genealogist', 'Foundations', the journal of the Foundation for Medieval Genealogy, and in the BBC's 'Who do you think you are?' magazine, among others.
