Located in the city of Santander, this modern archive’s holdings include an invaluable collection of notarial records stretching back to the 1500s, in which it is possible not only to find additional ancestors but to document their careers, property and litigation. Other excellent record sets on site include local and district censuses, both head-of-household and full population, for many municipalities in the region.
